What's the process?
Prequalification is the first step in starting the home buying process. Our dedicated team of service support specialists can meet with you in person, or schedule a phone call with you at your convenience. This initial meeting should only take 10-15 minutes and covers basic questions about your finances to get the process started. Prequalification allows you to figure out what you can afford, as well as give you an idea of what your payments with taxes and insurance would look like.

Where do you build?
We currently have properties in Harlingen, Edinburg and Mission, Texas. We're also continuing to expand with new properties in Weslaco.

How much do I need to get started?
To start the process of owning one of our homes, you need $2,000, which will go towards the 3.5% down payment needed when it's time to close your home.
Example of a $160,000 home with 3.5% down.
$160,000X 3.5%= $5,600
$5,600-$2,000=$3,600
Since you've already invested the $2,000 cost, your additional investment would be $3,600 at time of closing. It's never been more affordable to own your dream home!

How long does the build take once I've signed? When can I move in?
At UR Homes, we pride ourselves on high quality, on time construction. With many of our move-in ready homes with customization tweaks, you can move in within 30 days.

What is the criteria to qualify?
You'll need to meet the credit score minimum, be currently employed, and able to provide your income tax return from the last year. If you don't meet the credit score requirements, our service agents are able to help you get where you need to be. Our services are always free of charge to all of our clients. We want to help you get into your dream home!

Credit score minimums vary from client to client based on their particular situation, but typically you'd need at least a 600 score.

What are the price ranges you have for your homes?
UR Homes offers three home types to cater specifically to your budget. The Select Collection series ranges from $150k to $200, the Estate Collection from $190 to $250, and the Executive Collection ranges from $250 to $350.
